PAY: Where's that extra money to come from?

I worked at a large brokerage house for more than 42 years and never once did I hear anyone in management say, “Let’s cut my pay so our employees can make a living wage.”

Where do people think the increase will come from? It will come from higher prices, which affects everyone.

Put the operating cost of a smartphone toward school books and get an education.
