ABORTION: No turning back the clock for women's health
As a patient and supporter of Planned Parenthood, I’m disgusted by the latest attacks on the organization.
A video released recently shows extremists posing as health-care workers and badgering a longtime physician for hours, trying to get her to discuss unethical and criminal activity that she doesn’t engage in or know anything about.
There is nothing in these videos that suggest any violation of law. These tapes are heavily doctored to stir up hysteria and spread vicious lies about Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood has provided high-quality care in our community for nearly 100 years, and I know firsthand that nothing is more important to the organization than the health and safety of its patients.
This campaign is part of an ongoing national campaign to deceive the public and terrorize women and their doctors, all in order to ban family planning, including abortion. The goal is to cut women off from making their own private health care choices at Planned Parenthood - and anywhere else.
We will not turn the clock back for women or science, no matter how much these zealous liars try.
