ELECTION: Doyle-Enneking is an exciting candidate

For the record, I would like to make it perfectly clear that I am endorsing one candidate and one candidate only for the Tacoma City Council District 1 race, and that is Tara Doyle-Enneking.

It’s been a long time since I have been this excited about a candidate, and that’s why I was surprised to see Anders Ibsen’s mailer piece inaccurately depicting my business as one of his supporters. I have since asked him to please remove any such advertising.

Having been a 24-year elected official, I can spot when someone is outstanding and I recognize the traits essential to be an effective advocate for a community; Doyle-Enneking has those skills and then some. She is sharp and energetic and demonstrates the balanced voice we need to grow Tacoma in the right direction.

When you meet her you will see for yourself that voting for Doyle-Enneking is the right thing to do.
