ELECTION: Harbaugh has student interests at heart

I am thrilled that Leslie Harbaugh, candidate for Peninsula School Board Position 4, will be on the slate in November.

I know of no one with more knowledge of the many issues facing our school board, such as the small-class-size initiative, state funding and Common Core. She has a proven record of working cooperatively with others, which - along with her existing relations within our school district and community - can only make our school board stronger.

Our community and board need her knowledge and teamwork ethic to make our schools better.

I trust Harbaugh to work tirelessly for our students and fight for their best interests.
