PUYALLUP: A 'yes' vote supports our kids

As a Puyallup resident, I am proud of our community and our schools. I believe that successful students need strong communities and excellent schools. That is why I support the school district’s bond measure and will be voting “yes” on Nov. 3.

This bond will provide for five building projects at the elementary level and is an appropriate response to the enrollment crisis that our schools are facing. Since the teachers don’t have enough classrooms for the current enrollment, it seems wise to prepare for the growth that is happening all around us.

We need to step up and support our teachers and our students and vote “yes.”
