ELECTION: Use write-in option to vote for president
The head of Goldman Sachs, the large investment-banking firm, recently told his employees the company would be comfortable with either Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush as president. Thus, the fix is already in for the 2016 election. The big money will support either Bush or Clinton, no matter what.
This does not mean we voters have to accept whatever the big money presents as candidates for 2016. For voters like me, the Libertarian candidate will most likely get my vote. For liberal progressive Democrats, Bernie Sanders is the best candidate and is probably the single most honest candidate running. Everyone understands his position as a self-described Social Democrat
For people more oriented towards religious conservatism, Ben Carson might be right candidate. Plain vanilla conservatives should consider Scott Walker or Chris Christie.
We should not just accept the names that appear on our ballots. It’s time for all of us to make our true feelings known and to write in our choices on our 2016 ballots. There is no law that says we must constantly make choices between two unpalatable political parties. Vote for your candidate, not for the candidate of the special interests.
