THREAT: School underreacted to suspected bomb

Re: “No charges after clock mistaken for bomb” (TNT, 9-17).

The teachers and police failed to do their primary job function, which is to keep the students safe. The school was not evacuated, the bomb squad was not called, and no action to protect the students or teachers took place.

Why are the news media missing this story? This is not a trivial matter. If they ever for one second thought it was a bomb, as they claim, then why did they not take a single action that they are trained to do?

The national news headlines should be “School fails to protect students and teachers after bomb scare.”

Everyone who failed to take action to protect students needs to be fired.
