ELECTION: Al Abbott passes leadership test

We support Al Abbott, who is running for a seat on the Gig Harbor City Council.|

We know him as a friend and through a service club we both belong to: Rotary. Abbott is a patient leader who has the gift of listening and then analyzing. He really lives by Rotary’s four-way test of the things we think, say or do:

Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

That test might make for good politics these days. Let’s give it a try by sending Abbott to the Gig Harbor City Council.
