UNIONS: There are reasons workers have unionized

Re: “Freedom Foundation targets unions” (TNT, 10-6).

For the woman not wanting to pay union dues, the answer is simple. Find a non-union job. Then wonder why you don’t get a cost-of-living wage increase and have no recourse when they treat you poorly and any benefits you might have are taken away “because they cost too much.”

Then, later, when you are let go because they hire someone for 20 cents an hour less, that will give you time to research some history on why unions came to be. The wages and benefits we have today are “due” to unions.
