A letter writer (TNT, 11-3) is an apologist for the Democrats’ management of the murder of our ambassador and others at Benghazi.
The writer suggests that critics of the Democrats’ handling of Benghazi deal in “innuendo, myth and hyperbole.” The fact is our ambassador was killed because an inept government put our ambassador in the middle of a war zone virtually alone and without adequate American security people. Then, for more than a week, it was reported in our media that the killers were a mob motivated by a video, not organized radical Muslims.
The Benghazi disaster’s discussion is not about a lying government and the responsible government people. The discussion should be about a government that appears incapable of protecting Americans at home and in the world.
