Refugees: Risk posed to America is too great

In testimony before Congress, the FBI and Homeland Security admitted they do not have the resources or intelligence to vet the Syrians seeking asylum in the United States. Currently 25,000 Syrians are seeking refugee status in America.

The United States can provide humanitarian aid and no-fly zones in Syria to ease the conscience of the “co-exist” element in this country. Unfortunately, we are at war with the Islamic State. Granting refugee status to 25,000 Syrians would provide the pathway for Islamic terrorist to enter the United States. The risk is too great.
