KPLU: Board needs to replace president

Linnaea Pagni Mittelstadt, Puyallup

As an adult student in the mid-2000s at Pacific Lutheran University and as a prior staffer under the vice president for operations during the concurrent time frame, the thought I would like to see put forward to the PLU board is to consider selling the current president to the highest bidder and replace that person with someone better aimed at the trajectory put into place by Loren Andersen.

While no entity can be perfect, PLU under Andersen had a great many things in multiple arenas that were healthy and pushed things forward in positive ways. What is happening under the current president seems a great undoing of all that PLU has meant to this community and the community at-large.

Fix the problem where it is, board members; go forth without fear.
