Tacoma: City Council gets Click decision right

Kudos to the Tacoma City Council, which rather than acting as corporate facilitators enabling the privatization of Click, stood firm as representatives who serve the interests of Tacoma residents by leaning in and accepting the challenge of the important work of updating the Click Network.

Mayor Marilyn Strickland in particular shared and enabled a clear and exciting vision of Click for the future that matches that of her predecessors.

Community-based assets of this nature are intergenerational and deserve to be treasured and reinvested in, not tossed away.
