Teachers: Appreciate all our educators

As members of the educational community salute the dedication and professionalism of Nathan Gibbs-Bowling, we truly appreciate his acknowledgment of the profession and his fellow educators (TNT, 12-24).

He states he is a voice on teacher (educational staff) quality and positivity. The educational community truly appreciates this acknowledged sense of shared pride and camaraderie.

Teachers and staff often work tirelessly and silently: grading papers, purchasing materials with their own resources, and making bridges to parents and the community.

Recent headlines reveal a teacher shortage and career professionals going into alternate careers. Too often teachers are discouraged by negative evaluations and lack of credit due. Please let us offer resounding appreciation to our teachers and their unflagging dedication.
