Lindquist: TNT gives story too much prominence
Re: “Online post means more trouble for Lindquist” (TNT, 1-20).
I have been following your coverage of the issues with Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist. While the story has interest, the volume and tone of your articles has been over the top.
This story at the top of the front page is a continuation of your making this story far more than it ever was. And what is below the fold? A story where a loss of life, an illegal relationship and guns were involved.
Enough is enough. Let the voters and government of Pierce County decide what to do about Lindquist. I hope that they decide by using the facts of the case and do not rely on The News Tribune tabloid-style reporting of this story.
I am not associated with any political party. I am not a close friend or colleague of Lindquist, nor do I work for county government. I am just a citizen who is tired of the TNT writing countless stories rehashing the same information ad nauseam at the top of the front page.
