Bethel: Supporting bond supports students

As a longtime resident of the Bethel School District, I am pleased to see the district is proposing a bond measure to ensure the children continue to learn in a safe and nurturing environment.

With this bond, the Bethel School District will be able to renovate and/or modernize several schools, improve safety for the students, provide usable athletic fields across the district, and make available a much-needed aquatic center that will benefit all ages.

I have every intention of supporting this bond measure due to the fact the district has a proven track record of the highest standard when it comes to fiscal management. The last bond in 2006 delivered as promised and was managed so well that there was money left to make additional improvements to a number of facilities.

Please vote by Tuesday to support the children of the Bethel School District.
