Election: Outrageous to print Hitler comparisons

The News Tribune has published two letters comparing Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. This is not only shameful, it is outrageous.

Hitler rounded up Jewish people and sent them to death camps. Referring to Hitler is acceptable in an historical context but it is rarely used otherwise out of respect for the Holocaust survivors. This is simply a case of liberal bias and probably a visceral disdain of Trump.

Trump is a legitimate candidate and is bringing in thousands more voters to the primaries than ever before. These “take back our country” voters are sick and tired of being left behind economically, and President Obama’s policies have not helped them. They couldn’t care less about bad manners.

While Bernie Sanders offers more “free stuff” and Hillary Clinton panders to minorities, Trump promises to fight for better-paying jobs and it resonates. Letters smearing Trump should be unacceptable.

Would a letter using the “L” word describing Clinton’s untruthfullness be published? I think not. What happened to fair and balanced?
