JBLM: Rocket tests belong at Yakima

Re: “Don’t let gripers stop rocket tests” (letter, 3-18).

These “tests” and other large arms drills should be conducted at the Yakima Firing Range. This facility is located far from major population centers and more closely resembles the terrain and conditions our military has been deployed to in the past 20 years.

It also more closely resembles real battle conditions, such as being away from home and bivouacking in the field.
