Election: Candidates disrespect voters' wives

The nation, and the world, is now observing Donald Trump and Ted Cruz wrestling in the muck over their respective wives.

An anti-Trump super PAC displays a 15-year-old suggestive photograph of Trump’s wife. Cruz denies any involvement. Trump releases comparative facial shots of both wives implying how beautiful his third wife is compared to “Lyin’ Ted” Cruz’s first and only. Accusations include “sniveling coward” and “rat,” surely with more to come.

Murderous anger has surfaced in these two candidates’ protection of their wives.

Is it not ironic that Trump and Cruz would deny your wives, daughters and sisters the constitutional right established by Roe v. Wade? Cruz went so far as to threaten a federal government shutdown in his quest to defund Planned Parenthood because of his beliefs about abortion.

What of your wives’, daughters’ and sisters’ medical care which could be dangerously compromised if Planned Parenthood is defunded?

Trump and Cruz will not tolerate any disrespect of their wives. But their personal beliefs and platform promises threaten and disrespect your wives.
