Transgender: What about rights of a civil society?

Re: “Inslee bans state travel to N. Carolina over new law” (TNT, 3-30).

When did the rights of the individual become greater than the rights of society as a whole? Even our judicial system seems to have lost the meaning of our Founding Fathers in the rules for a civilized society, aka the Constitution.

As individuals, we have the right to choose to follow those rules or not. But, it does not grant those individuals the right to force their anti-social acts on the rest of society and expect acceptance!

What does the word “civil” mean with respect to individual rights of gender Identification, etc.? It certainly does not mean the rest of us should legitimize or accept those acts without a natural, negative reaction.

I understand the “open arms love for all” concept, but I cry for our country with its selfish, self-oriented bacchanalian attitudes.
