Methanol: Inslee must help stop bad proposal

Re: “Methanol plant had Inslee’s backing early” (TNT, 4-10).

I am an active Democrat. I have worked and contributed to multiple campaigns. Needless to say, I vote.

I am shocked that the world’s largest methanol plant might be built in Tacoma. The number of Washington residents impacted by the known and foreseen pollution is astounding. The possible events are unthinkable: explosions, leaks, earthquakes, etc.

I will not support Jay Inslee for reelection if he doesn’t do something to help stop this plant. From the article, it is clear that he had a lot to do with getting it started.
