Election: Democrats practice intimidation
The Democratic Party prides itself on being the party of tolerance and inclusion. Over the years, that’s not what I’ve seen and recent protests have reinforced my view that the Democratic Party is one of intolerance and intimidation.
For whatever reason, liberal protesters can’t seem to have a peaceful protest. Their protests are marked by lawlessness, police clashes, property damage, broken barricades, blocked highways and streets, intimidation of law-abiding citizens and arrests. The amount of taxpayer dollars spent on police to control these protesters is staggering.
Donald Trump has made some provocative statements, but his rallies have had only one major incident up until hundreds of protesters in Chicago disrupted his rally and stifled his right to free speech. It was more of the same in Utah, Arizona and numerous college campuses. When will it all stop?
The courts need to be more proactive in sentencing unlawful protesters: 30 days in jail or a $1,000 fine. Repeat offenders get higher fines.
Like everyone else, protesters have a right to “peaceful” demonstrations or marches, but they don’t have the right to break the law.
