Bethel: Leave legacy of supporting schools

I am a senior citizen and have lived in the Bethel School District area for more than 40 years. When my children were attending school in Bethel, there were single people, childless couples, “empty nesters” and senior citizens all paying taxes to support our children’s education. Now it is our turn to continue the legacy and support the schools as others did for us and our children.

Legacy is about life and living. If we don’t leave a legacy of support for the construction of buildings and maintenance of those buildings for quality education, what kind of society are we building?

We are all part of the larger community, one that must remember its history to build its future. We must invest in the future of Bethel School District so it can educate and house our students properly as well as support our community at large.

Invest in your community, your neighborhoods and Bethel students. Join me in voting “yes” for the future.
