Bethel: Yes to schools, yes to pool

I am voting for the Bethel School District bond because of the aquatics center. This community is in dire need of healthy outlets for our youth.

Working at a center myself as a youth, I learned that few centers are able to function in the positive. This is done by building a facility that can host multiple programs, much like the Federal Way facility.

I’ve sat in meetings with district staff and local businesses when they planned the initial phases of the bond proposal. A majority of these business leaders were in favor of this measure because they saw the benefit of building something in the area that will draw people to come here. With visitors comes commerce. A rising tide raises all ships.

If you have questions about the bond, call the superintendent. He will answer them personally for you.

A friend of mine was against the bond. He met with the superintendent and completely changed his opinion based on the accurate information, not hearsay or rumor.
