Kelley: Jury ensured that justice was done

In the wake of Troy Kelley's acquittal - thanks to the hard work, patience and diligence of the jury - I am greatly relieved for the Kelley family and aghast at the millions of taxpayer dollars spent on this case.

Having sat in on a good portion of this trial, it became clearer and clearer to me that this case should never have reached a courtroom. The irony is that the prosecution was alleging that Kelley was not financially accountable to some of his customers, yet the prosecution ended up not accountable to us taxpayers.

Enough misuse of our taxes!
