Murder: Protect man's privacy unless convicted
Re: “Gig Harbor man ‘person of interest in wife’s 1982 death,” (TNT, 5/17).
The U.S. Constitution guarantees that all citizens are considered not guilty until otherwise convicted in a court of law. This article identifies, by name and workplace, someone whom the police, at this point, merely wish to question. Such a headline, and the accompanying article, is just tabloid journalism.
