Election: Don't distrust Clinton until meeting her
According to recent polling data, many voters have said that Hillary Clinton is, among other things, not trustworthy, not likeable, thin-skinned, not authentic and a money-grubbing fiend. Doesn’t sound like a very nice person. How could I have missed that?
But I guess I am one of those few voters who have never personally met Clinton. I have never sat down and had coffee with her, never had her in my home, never even exchanged letters or emails with her. So I really can’t judge her character like all those voters in the polls. To make such character judgments, they certainly must have a personal relationship with her; must have talked and interacted with her.
Maybe if she visits Tacoma, I can invite her to lunch and get to know her on a personal level like other voters. I’m a nice guy, interested in our nation’s future. But I feel left out.
