WSU: Don't overreact to coach's Trump endorsement

Re: “Coach’s endorsement was wrong,” (TNT, 5/18).

I give money to Washington State University because I believe in its work, the education it provides to its students and the tools it provides for life after college. Yes, professors, teachers and coaches are major providers in that education, but I don’t believe that one coach’s political beliefs will affect or influence the entire university.

To pull a scholarship just because you disagree with football coach Mike Leach’s political stance, you are condemning the entire university. That is wrong.
