Puyallup: Don't blame homeless resource center
The New Hope Resource Center is a voluntary organization attempting to alleviate the homeless problem in Puyallup. These homeless are mostly citizens of Puyallup who have fallen on hard times. Other cities have their own homeless problem. The homeless people in Puyallup are the responsibility of the elected representatives on the Puyallup City Council.
Our council members have been quick to find fault with the work of the New Hope Resource Center, but have done nothing toward solving this problem. I guess they would rather talk about stop signs or plastic bags than tackle a real problem. Citizens, lets put the blame for the lack of a solution to this problem where it belongs, on the Puyallup City Council. Council members, to quote Harry Truman, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen”
