Canada: Letter misses environmental hypocrisy
I found it interesting that a letter writer (TNT, 5/23) held up British Columbia as a shining example of the positive effect that a revenue-neutral carbon tax can have on an economy while also reducing carbon emission levels. This is quite noble for a province that continues to discharge 27 million gallons of untreated sewage into the Strait of Juan de Fuca every day.
