“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” -- George Orwell
We are so used to the lies that we now feel comfortable with them.
In geology classes, we learned that there has been constant change of earth and climate. For instance, Pompeii was a port city in 79 AD; it is now 10 miles from the Mediterranean. However, those on the left tell us that constant geologic change is something new and should be blamed on capitalism.
They also believe raising the minimum wage to $15 will help people. Yet when they want to cut down on smoking, they raise the cost of cigarettes. When they want to decrease soda pop consumption, they argue for more taxes. Why wouldn’t raising the cost of employment have the same negative effect?
When a terrorist walks into a (gun free zone) bar and begins shooting and killing people, the left again has an answer. They believe they must limit all of our access to weapons. What would their answer be if the killer had used the pressure cooker like the Tsarnaev brothers did?
Perhaps their world view gets more bizarre with the higher strength of marijuana.
