Clinton: Mileage doesn’t qualify her for White House

Re: “Clinton a highly qualified candidate.” (TNT letter, 6/20). If a coach coaches 100 games but loses virtually all of them, does it make him eminently qualified to coach? If a surgeon performs 100 surgeries but virtually all of them are failures, does it make him eminently qualified to perform surgery?

If a woman serves as a New York senator and U.S. secretary of state but has a dismal record of performance, does that make her eminently qualified to be president? I think not, regardless of where she went to school or how many miles she traveled or how many countries she visited.
