Sanders: Not quitting keeps pressure on Dems
It's interesting how many people who were never for Bernie Sanders in the first place are now offering him campaign advice to pull out. Here's the deal: Bernie knows as well as all of us that he will not be the nominee. That's not why he keeps going. When he started his campaign he made clear that it was more than an election, but a political revolution.
Sanders knows how to negotiate a deal and to get an acceptable platform and maybe change the Democratic National Convention. He has to keep the pressure on. Any decent negotiator (including Donald Trump) knows how the game is played.
Maybe some of Sanders' supporters are grumbling about starting a third party, but he has no time for this. He has made it clear that he will support the nominee.
