Democrats: Party should solely endorse Sanders
I am concerned about the wording of the endorsement of Sen. Bernie Sanders for president by Democratic State Chair Jaxon Ravens. I was a Sanders delegate from the 10th Congressional District to the 2016 Washington State Democratic Convention. I am also the Democratic state committeeman for the 25th Legislative District Democrats. I was a voting member at the convention.
The state party endorsement released by Ravens was not indicative of the will of the majority of delegates present at the convention. Sanders has state Democrats' sole endorsement. Hillary Clinton has not secured enough delegates to have the nomination. The superdelegates (unpledged delegates) had not voted yet.
