Library: Closure would bring shame on city

The possible closure of the Northwest Room is an absolute disgrace. A city the size of Tacoma should be able to support a library system. Where in the world does all the tax money go?

It seems as if every time the residents want something, such as pothole repairs, we have to vote in a “special” tax. The buck stops with Mayor Marilyn Strickland; it’s on her watch. Shame on her.
