Guns: "No fly" plan strips constitutional rights

Re: “Still time for gun-control compromise,” (TNT editorial, 6/23).

You support depriving people on a “no fly” and “selectee” watch list of their 2nd Amendment rights. Why not just deprive them of all their constitutional rights? Maybe just round them up and put them in camps where it will be easier to watch them.

The fact that these lists are loosely based on hearsay, suspicions and who knows what else should give everyone pause.

If individuals are going to be deprived of their rights, it should be done openly and in a court of of law, not because of some secret list put together by faceless bureaucrats.
