Trump: Prize-winning reporter unmasks candidate
I don't know how often the average American populist takes time to look into Trump's background. Judging from the adulation being poured on the man, I would have to guess not often, if at all. Which is too bad, because there's a ton of material just waiting to be read by any intelligent and responsible voter wanting to inform himself.
Take one source — David Cay Johnston, a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter who's covered Trump for over two decades. Among the wealth of findings, he's established that Trump has had numerous dealings with the mafia, in Atlantic City and New York. He's also discovered that Trump probably pays little or no taxes, due to a loophole specifically for real estate people. It may be why Trump doesn't want to disclose his current taxes.
The list goes on: stiffing employees, withholding money for services rendered, buying Chinese-made goods, using immigrant labor, dodging the draft for bogus reasons, and mistreating veterans.
His apparent tough-guy, John Wayne squint hides more than just run-of-the-mill insecurities. It conceals a ruthlessness that should give pause to everyone. But don't take my word for it - check out Johnston!
