Noise: Treat vendors shouldn't blast music

It’s a privilege, not a right, to sell ice cream on private property. Ice cream truck vendors, please lower your music volume when making a sale. A half dozen ice cream trucks travel through my apartment complex multiple times a day. Their favorite spot is a few feet from my apartment.

Tenants work night shifts, have sleeping babies, etc. The law should prohibit these trucks from broadcasting any amplified music while parked and dispensing ice cream. I’ve nicely asked vendors to lower music. A few appeared offended.

I’d hate to read about a tragic deadly confrontation over ice cream.
