Rainiers: Cost to see Felix pitch way too high
I am a long-term baseball fan at Cheney Stadium. I went to the first game ever played to see the Tacoma Giants in 1960.
It seems that management wanted to make a higher profit for the rehab game that Felix Hernandez pitched at Cheney on July 15. Reserve tickets went from $15 to $30, parking from $5 to 10. A fan next to me said he paid $10 for a beer. Sitting in the lawn also cost $15.
I will not be going to a Rainiers game the rest of this season. They got all of my money for baseball this year on July 15.
