Election: PC should mean "polite and courteous"
Re: “Security briefings: A fight over presidential courtesy,” (TNT, 7/30). Your headline had me hoping for a wild second that, at last, the candidates will be encouraged during briefings to be courteous to one another. Not so!
Wouldn’t it be a relief (not to mention a pleasant surprise) if the candidates practiced something I’ve been preaching most of my life: Please interpret PC as “polite and courteous.”
