Plagiarism: Political speeches often resort to it
Recently, there was a letter in the TNT that described Melania Trump’s use of wording from a previous speech made by Michelle Obama back in 2008. Trump’s speechwriter did plagiarize the first lady’s speech when Trump spoke at the Republican National Convention, but what was not mentioned in the letter was that Obama’s speechwriter plagiarized a work from 1992.
Plagiarizing a plagiarist is still plagiarism, but it’s important for us to know the full story. I invite readers to go to http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2016/07/get_melania_plagiarism_charges_thrown_at_trumps_first_lady_in_waiting.html
