Firefighter: Burned wildfire survivor truly inspires

Re: “Out of the flames of hell: Twisp firefighter recovering,” (TNT, 8/11).

This was an article that really deserved its place on the front page, and it needs to be read by the younger sector of the population.

It is a real lesson to hear from Daniel Lyon. He has the will to work hard to heal his body and then to plan for future work. He will be invaluable to organizations such as law enforcement or a related field.

He will be an example to the world of people who can succeed despite setbacks.
