THE SITUATION: When it comes to optics, how many times have you wished your binoculars had night-vision capabilities?

AN ANSWER: ATN, makers of advanced night vision, thermal imaging and digital Smart HD optics for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, has recently released the BinoX-HD 4-16X Smart Binoculars.

These binoculars have a day mode that can be used for spotting game and viewing vistas. When it gets dark, switch to night mode and use its night-vision capabilities. The binoculars also record video, take photos and use Wi-Fi so you can share what you saw.

THE DETAILS: The binoculars run on ATN’s Obsidian Core, a powerful computer processor. It uses an array of sensors that allow it to output crisp high-res 1080p images and even light up the sky with night vision. It is stabilized by 3-D Gyroscope for a smooth, seamless image, has an electronic 4-16X zoom and a built-in GPS. It has 4GB of internal memory and can take a micro SD card. Others features include an e-compass, altimeter and speedometer.

The binoculars weigh 1.75 pounds.
