A prelude to chaos in Pullman. College Gameday setting up for a monumental show at Washington State

I wasn’t alive for Woodstock and I was born just a few years after Live Aid. But there’s an event that might rival that on Saturday... at least by Pullman standards.

When “College Gameday” invades the Washington State campus it may be the sight for the greatest episode in the show’s 30 years of existence.

On Wednesday, the signature bus rolled into town and was treated to a heroes welcome.

All for a bus. You can’t tell me these people aren’t jacked for Saturday morning’s show.

City council has even granted a declaration of emergency for the city of Pullman this Saturday as extra buses will be used for the show, the game and those coming into town.

Construction is underway for the set and for shows on Friday and Saturday. Massive crowds are expected.

“Ol Crimson” Archives

Reddit’s College Football page posted a pretty cool video with photos featuring the iconic College Gameday staple. And someone has actually created a fantastic infographic archiving the history of the flag which you can see here.
