NBA legend Kobe Bryant dead at 41 from helicopter crash

Lakers legend Kobe Bryant is dead at age 41 from a helicopter crash on Sunday morning in Southern California.

First reported by TMZ, Bryant was among five dead in a helicopter crash in Calabasas.

Per TMZ, as of 12:39 has reported that his daughter Gianna aged 13, was also on-board as they were headed to his Mamba Academy for a basketball practice.

Update

Just last night, Kobe Bryant paid tribute to LeBron James who passed him on the NBA’s all-time scoring list vs. the Philadelphia 76ers.

Tributes have been pouring in from around the sports world, it has not been confirmed if the NBA will play the scheduled games on Sunday.

No word has been announced on the status of the Lakers game scheduled for Tuesday night in LA.
