World rankings: Gonzales is 305th, Putnam is 404th, and Stanley is 558th.

2014-15 earnings: Gonzales has $721,621 (108th on the PGA Tour), Putnam has $264,336 (172nd on the PGA Tour), and Stanley has $195,766 (184th on the PGA Tour).

The skinny: Gonzales missed the cut at last week’s John Deere Classic (even-par 142) at TPC Deere Run. He has fallen to 118th in the FedEx Cup points race; the top 125 retain their PGA Tour playing privileges for next year. … Putnam is running out of time to retain his PGA Tour card for next season. He missed the cut at the John Deere (6-over 148), his fifth missed cut in his past six tournaments. His scoring average of 72.3 ranks 191st on tour. … Stanley tied for 18th at the John Deere Classic (12-under 272), closing with a 67. He has made the cut at his past three PGA Tour events, including a tied-for-20th effort at the Travelers Championship the week before the John Deere. He has shot in the 60s in eight of his past nine rounds..
