Tributes Pour In After 3 Tragic NFL Offseason Deaths
Tributes are pouring in on social media after three tragic NFL community deaths this offseason.
The NFL community is reeling from the passings of three former players and coaches this offseason.
A former NFL defensive back died at 30 years old, a two-time Dallas CowboysSuper Bowl champion died at 77 and a former Chargers player died at 79.
Chris Payton-Jones, a former Nebraska Huskers standout and NFL defensive back, was killed in a car accident at 30.
"This one hurt bad. 904 legend ❤️🩹🕊️," one fan wrote.
"Too young and too soon," one shared.
"Chris was only 30 years old. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and teammates. Very sad 🙏," one fan added.

Tributes pour in for two other former NFL players
John Fitzgerald, a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Dallas Cowboys, passed away at 77 years old.
"RIP to a legend," one shared.
"A dominant force. RIP," one shared.
"Two Super Bowls while playing for the Cowboys is quite a life. RIP," one shared.
Meanwhile, former San Diego Chargers defensive back Dick Farley, who is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, passed away at 79.
"May he rest in peace," one shared.
