Lakers Are Getting Ripped For Bronny James Playoff Decision

The Lakers topped the Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference first round playoff series, 107-98, on Saturday evening.

Los Angeles took an important 1-0 series lead against Houston, which was playing without star forward Kevin Durant. The Lakers will look to pull off an upset in the first round - and they'll need a big-time series from LeBron James to do it.

During the game, LeBron's son, second-year guard Bronny James, actually received some playing time. Bronny James played four minutes, recording two personal fouls and one turnover. He didn't score, grab a rebound or dish an assist.

Should Bronny James be playing in a huge, first round NBA Playoff series game?

NBA fans are ripping Lakers coach J.J. Redick for giving Bronny James playing time

"Getting drafted because his father's boss was doing him a favor… Not because he earned a roster spot ..," one fan wrote.

"The official ESPN account putting out content like this is wild. 🤣 He had 2 fouls and 0 points. 🤷‍♂️," one fan added.

"Nepotism from USC don't see that every day," one fan added.

"This will never happen again in any sport. Appreciate it," one fan added.

"Legit no point for Bronny to be in the game. Lakers will do anything for clout," one fan added.

It'll be interesting to see if Bronny James gets any playing time in Game 2.
