CeeDee Lamb Reacts After Major Cowboys Move on Monday
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a season that saw them miss the NFL playoffs for the second year in a row, as the team's 7-9-1 record wasn't enough.
With the 2026 NFL Draft just days away, the team has already made some significant moves this offseason to bolster the roster, with the most notable being trading for Rashan Gary. However, Monday saw Jerry Jones and company make a no-brainer decision.
As revealed in a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter, the team reached an agreement with kicker Brandon Aubrey that makes him the highest-paid kicker in NFL history.

While kickers don't typically generate a ton of buzz, Aubrey is a legitimate weapon for Dallas. He has arguably the biggest leg in the NFL, hitting from as far as 64 yards this past season.
The former pro soccer player made 85.7% of his field goals this past season, and 97.9% of his extra point attempts. Unsurprisingly, plenty of fans were thrilled at the move, but they weren't the only ones.
Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb took to Instagram to celebrate the move, but also ask Aubrey for a favor.
"BA!!!!! Lemme hold a light 100," joked the three-time All-Pro.
Lamb is also under contract with Dallas for the long haul, as he signed a four-year deal worth $136 million after shining while on his rookie contract.
With one of the best quarterbacks, wide receivers and kickers in the league, fans should expect to see the Cowboys go all in on bolstering a defense that ranked No. 30 in yards allowed per game at 377 in this week's draft.
