Prep Highlights: Faith Smith, Abbey Hite lead Ridgefield softball over Columbia River 10-0
Faith Smith pitched five shutout innings and Abbey Hite went 4 for 4 as the Ridgefield softball team beat Columbia River 10-0 in five innings in a 2A Greater St. Helens League game on Friday in Ridgefield.
The win allowed the Spudders (13-2) to tied River for second place in the 2A GSHL at 7-2.
The Spudders got hits from eight different batters and every batter in the lineup reached base at least once.
Casey Lehnertz was 3 for 4 with a double and two RBI, and Gracie Olmos was 3 for 4 with a triple and two RBI.
Smith allowed just three hits and struck out four. She was also 2 for 4 with an RBI.
